I've seen posts and videos of people using either a Mega Memory Card or Monster Brain to "Restore" or copy the save onto the USB GB Cart, then they copy the save from cart to their PC. Hope this was helpful.

Unfortunately, if I have the flashcart plugged into the mega memory card it refuses to get past the "Gameboy" splash screen. What I need it for is to copy my Pokemon Gold save file onto my computer. Is it possible to copy the save file onto the mega memory card, then transfer it onto my USB 64M Smart Card before plugging my Smart Card into my laptop and copying the save file?

Then restore that file to the cartridge any other time as long as they were compatible. I'd want to edit the save file for the sake of making custom (EV trained) Pokemon. or use Gameshark codes within an emulator. Of course, I'd then want to restore the save to the memory card, and then back to the original cart. So, do I want this product?
